Sonia Anne Khalil, a native and resident of Palos Hills, is a community activist, volunteer, and recent cancer survivor. Inspired by her father, the co-founder and chairman of the Arab American Democratic Club, Sonia has dedicated her own career to public service. She has 14 years of combined experience working in county and local government.

Sonia Anne will use that experience to pass legislation that benefits middle-class families in our communities. Sonia Anne is also a consultant at a woman-owned firm and will always fight for local small businesses. In addition to her civic engagement, Sonia Anne works to raise awareness about blood cancer.
